Horseback riding

Doñana National Park is about an hour and half outside of Sevilla, close to the Atlantic Ocean, and for the day we went horseback riding on Sunday! The good argument to go was because there just really isn't anything to do on a Sunday since all the shops close ;)

I also haven't gone horseback riding since I was in Leavenworth in the 7th grade so I thought what the hey.

It was so beautiful and so worth it! It rained a little on us but it was ok, I'm use to just sucking it up in the rain and not let it ruin my fun ;) what would we do in Washington if we weren't like that?!

Some of our group

This is me on my horse ;) Haha cool view eh

Our guide

Seriously what kind of lighthouse is this!?

My attempt at that thing people always do to cool things. haha

Either way it was a fun experience and I'm glad I did it :) The town it was in was also really cute, just small and cute and all of the people were really fun and open to talk!

Hiking in the Sierra Norte

On Friday our program to Sierra Norte to go hiking! So here I am thinking awesome hiking, lots of trees & shade & it will probably be cool out, lots of hills and small trails.......mmmm or not. First our program said we would be in the "mountains" haha more like hills! I just didn't say anything because Sevillians are very proud people, if they have mountains then yes they have mountains.

The way there was more like a large dirt road and very flat, but the sights were amazing. After about 1. 5hours we stopped at a nice bank by a mini river and hung out for a bit.

This dog decided to do the hike with us as well, it was nice. He was very friendly

Look a donkey or something!

The way back oh boy it was mostly UP HILL, with no shade. It was like 85 degrees outside so ya I have a sunburn on my shoulders so bad that it hurts to wear clothes. Ugh, its not hot enough to sell sunscreen and aloe I guess here. Oh well for meeee!
