So this week I've done a lot of dancinggggg. For Feria de Abril (April fair which is actually in May) there are dancing in the streets called "Sevillana" its a break off of Flamenco but it special to southern Spain. There a four different variations and I'm trying to learn the first one before Feria is here, it's been interesting to say.
I also have taken a salsa class. It was pretty easy because it was like the latin workout class at the gym. So then the next night after volunteering, we went to test it out. It was a really fun place and we all like to dance with the older men because they don't care who they dance with they just want to dance and they usually are better. Well I didn't actually test out the salsa, but I learned and danced Bachata which is like a more lets say "sensual" slow salsa, I didn't like. It was just awkward. I'm going to try to avoid that from now on. But I think I enjoyed watching others dance more than me, I'm not very good I don't think.
Today we went to a little town outside of Sevilla called Dos Hermanas( two sisters) and had a BBQ!!! Last time our program offered some "american" food it was pizza and it was like tuna and corn pizza. So I didn't know what to expect but it was awesome, except it really needed some watermelon.
It was 88 degrees today!!! It was hot, but luckily there was good shade :)
I actually liked the burger I had...well obviously ;)
