It was my friend's 21st birthday so this weekend in Sevilla was all about her. After the BBQ, way after, we just wanted to go to the River. So we got her some cheap champagne, it was fun.
Ok, maybe we got two bottles, but MAN did those tops FLY! All the way into the river, it was really awesome ha
Saturday we got up at 6AM to go to Punta Umbría, the beach! It was a really awesome cute little town & had my favorite beach yet! I can't even remember all the beaches I've been to but it's nice to explore different ones and not just go to the same cheapest place. Plus there were no americans which is always a plus too.
It was on the Atlantic and the beach extended SOOO long into the ocean. I get so grossed out at home with walking in the water barefoot and feeling gross slimy stuff, I always wearing flip flops but this beach holy cow! It was JUST sand and you could be standing straight up for so far out into the water, so we rode the waves for awhile, it was so much fun!
I took a mini nap and woke up to this :) must have been explaining what I would look like when I got home...I mean I am BURNT!!! Couldn't find sunscreen and it hurts to wear clothes, man bummer. I got home and my host mom was flipping out and then got some oil stuff and was like "lay down, shirt up!" and was rubbing me down to sooth me and then put lotion on. It was nice, but I really just need my mommy at home for that not my host señora. But it was nice of her.
Hopefully I will be fine in a few days, at least better because Thursday I'll be in ITALY for a week :) eeeek!
